Staff and residents at Alexandra House Nursing Care Home are celebrating after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated its service as 100% “Good”.
The home achieved “Good” in the five key standards of CQC assessment: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led, proving its dedication to high standards.
In the report the CQC said: “People told us they felt safe. Staff had training in safeguarding and were aware of how to deal with any concerns. People and relatives we spoke with felt supported by the manager.”
Lorraine Abbiss, Care Home Manager at Alexandra House says: “We welcomed the CQC inspection to illustrate and demonstrate how our care and essential processes and procedures are not only safe but delivered in the skilled and professional manner you would expect.‘’
“I’m very proud of our team, the last year hasn’t been easy, but together as a unit we have provided a safe and consistent service, supporting those most vulnerable whilst maintaining our very high standards of care.” Alexandra House care home is a covid-safe place to live.
