An impromptu visit from Eastwood based The Priory Catholic Voluntary Academy saw pupil Josh Maud hand deliver a bunch of flowers to his great grandma Frances White.
Chosen as the care home of preference by Josh because his great grandma lives here, the whole class of pupils delivered a plethora of flowers as a Jubilee gift for everyone to enjoy. It was also the ideal opportunity for Josh to say hello.
Charlotte Bell, Activities Coordinator at Alexandra House Care Home says: “This unexpected surprise was so gratefully received. We has so many flowers we were able to get together and hold a flower arranging class for all of us to organise and arrange in vases, just how we like them.
“Thank you to Josh for thinking of us, and thank you to the school and class for taking the time to visit and make our day. I was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all of us.”
