After 23 years of caring for our residents, Lesley retired this week. We were all sad to see her go, with all that caring she has done over the years, for our elderly in Aspley.
Long ago now, Lesley wondered what working as a carer would be like, so she tried at Melbourne House and really found her vocation with us. The teamwork at Melbourne is really exceptional and this is what Lesley liked and making a home for all the residents. ‘A big caring family’
‘It has been a great learning opportunity, with something new every day and the togetherness of all of us, has really made caring at Melbourne a great job for me’ said Lesley.
She now looks forward to more time with her 5 grandchildren and hopes to return as a volunteer to remain ‘part of the caring family’
